Guides and publications

On the jemepresente.gouv.qc.ca website, you will find, among other things, publications addressing the role of elected officials and municipal organization in Quebec.  The Welcome and Reference Guide for Municipal Elected Officials can be a great place to start!

Application forms are available at the municipality.

The regional directorates of the MAMH

MAMH can support you through its regional branches.  To contact them, call the line dedicated to potential candidates: 1 844 844-8466.  You can also participate in one of the “I am running in the 2021 municipal elections” information sessions.

The returning officer of your municipality

This person can, among other things, answer your questions about the nomination paper and the electoral procedure.  Go through your municipality to access their contact information.
