Due to the narrow width, of our municipal roads and the maintenance that must be done to them, it is strictly forbidden to park on municipal roads at all times. We wish to thank all citizens for their cooperation and for adhering to by-law # 06-001 regarding parking, enforced by la Sûreté du Québec.
Snow dumping from private entrances on public roads is forbidden
For safety reasons and also the difficulty that It creates for the snow removal crew to keep winter roads in good condition.
THE MUNICIPAL RIGHT-OF-WAY
The municipal right-of-way is the space between the boundary of a private property and the edge of the street.
This municipal area, which can range from one to a few meters deep, must, for safety reasons, remain virgin of any object or plantation.
No rock, no tree or shrub, or fence-type construction shall be located there. Owners may, however, embellish a grassed area in harmony with the development of their property.
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO DEPOSIT BRANCHES IN MUNICIPAL DITCHES
By virtue of the current municipal regulations, it is forbidden to deposit branches, leaves or lawn clippings on the roads sides. This practice, besides being banned, would have the consequence of blocking the municipal ditches.
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO THROW BULKY OBJECTS, HEAVY OBJECTS,
CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS OR TOXIC WASTE IN THE MUNICIPAL GARBAGE BINS
We remind citizens that it is forbidden to use common garbage bins for the disposal of heavy, bulky objects, construction materials or toxic materials at the risk of breaching municipal bylaws.
